An applied math group for high school students in partnership with the University of Arkansas Department of Mathematical Sciences.
Are you a high school student interested in the kinds of math that solves abstract research questions? Are you interested in working with other students on deep and unusual areas of mathematics and computation? Join us as we pose difficult and interesting problems in mathematics and attempt to solve them. Students should plan to collaborate with other high school students and complete small tasks in between meetings. Sessions will be led by faculty from the University of Arkansas and supported by the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
This program is free and open to 9–12th graders. All materials will be provided. Sessions will follow the FPS school calendar through Spring Break.
