Screens are an essential part of our children's lives - know the concerns to find the right balance for your family.
Screen time affects the developmental, emotional, mental and physical health of our children. As more and more of kids' lives are spent in front of screens from birth through the school years, where and how do we draw limits? To find the right balance for your family, the library has partnered with the Fayetteville Public School District to provide a panel of community experts to share their knowledge and insights about screen time, followed by a Q and A session.
Panelists include:
Joy Shirley, Director of Student Services, Fayetteville Public School District
Katy Seifritz, 6th Grade Counselor, McNair Middle School
Jason Edwards, Principal, Root Elementary
Malik Freeman, School Resource Officer, Fayetteville High School
Andrew Koehler, M.D., Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics
