In this class, participants will learn the basic hand building techniques of working with air dry clay. This is a highly versatile medium that is easy to work with and is good for all ages with no previous experience needed. Using a variety of embossed decorative tools, everyone will be able to design and make their very own unique plant pot. With spring time closing in, this is a great way to display your plants in style!
Chase is an Arkansas native, born and raised in North Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BFA in art education and a studio focus in ceramics. His work revolves around making every day functional pots with added interest in local clays and materials. He currently works as a teacher and studio manager at the Community Creative Center in Fayetteville. Helping provide and facilitate the local community with a greater experience and understanding when working with clay.
