Join us for a conversation with author Jackson Ford!

Jackson Ford, author of the Frost Files series beginning with "The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with Her Mind", will be discussing the important of joy in writing. Creating fiction often carries the idea that the writer has to be tortured, struggling, damaged and use writing purely to cope with their life. In this presentation, Ford will talk about writing from a different angle: writing as a form of play, of unrestricted, wild joy! He will discuss how to approach that as a writer, how to seek it out as a reader and how he used this idea to write the Frost Files books.

Jackson Ford is a South African author living in Vancouver BC, because you can't snowboard in Johannesburg. He is the author of The Frost Files series, beginning with "The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With Her Mind". The series been optioned for TV, translated into multiple languages, and sold thousands of copies worldwide. Under his real name, Rob Boffard, he is the author of the sci-fi trilogy "Outer Earth". Jackson is still amazed that people pay him for this, even though most of it goes on whiskey, videogames, and dog treats.

Books will be available for sale and signing following the event.
