Three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. People trained on QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Attendees will learn QPR as well as more information about how suicide effects various groups in our communities such as veterans, farmers, and LBGTQ+ populations.

Brandon Swain is a Public Health Educator with the Arkansas Department of Health in Hometown Health Improvement. He provides technical assistance, educational materials, and presentations throughout Northwest Arkansas. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacological Studies from Westminster College and a master’s in public health from the University of Missouri.
