Join us in the CFI to explore a career as an Electrician in a work-at-your-own-pace course on our skilled trades virtual learning platform!

So, you want to be an electrician? In this course you'll learn how you can start your career in the electrical field. It covers the settings and career paths you can take, the education and training you'll need, and gets you started with safety guidelines for electricians. Being an electrician is a very versatile trade that transfers to other trades like HVAC, solar, plumbing and facilities maintenance. Are you ready to get started?

Our catalog offers virtual instruction in both English and Spanish for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, solar, facilities maintenance/hospitality, multi-family facilities maintenance, appliances, residential construction, and safety, so register today to learn a new skill!

All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.

This program is designed for participants 15 and older, and most content is available in both English and Spanish. There are 8 stations/headsets available at a time, so we recommend registering to guarantee a spot.
