Join instructor Lela Besom to learn Butoh, an avant garde and unique style of dance open to beginners!

This introductory level class will include information about the Japanese dance, Butoh. Participants will also improve their bodies and minds with basic gentle Butoh exercises. No dance experience necessary. 

Lela Besom is an international performing Butoh artist, producer, and educator currently based in Springdale, Arkansas. She was a member of DAIPANbutoh Collective in Seattle, WA for six years. Her butoh teachers include Sheri Brown, Helen Thorsen, Diego Piñon, Joan Laage, Natsu Nakajima, Kudo Takaturo, Ari Rudenko, and Vangeline France.
