Join Raven Cook of Foundations and The Washington County League of Women Voters for a lecture celebrating black women's resistance. The presentation will highlight the political and social contributions of black women to American society using visual art and primary sources to engage audiences in new ways. Twelve important black women active from 1930 to today, including Shirley Chisholm, will be highlighted.
