What?  Huh?  Having trouble hearing effects your daily life and those around you.  Join Clinical Audiologist, Elizabeth Bowden, who will discuss several aspects of hearing loss and remediation.  Topics include early signs of hearing loss, aspects of untreated hearing loss on individuals and better communication tips to use with the hearing impaired.  She will also discuss ear anatomy and how hearing works.  What to expect during a hearing evaluation and how to interpret results will also be covered as well as options for improved hearing/communication through assistive devices and personal hearing aids. 

Elizabeth graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology.  She graduated from Memphis State University with a Master’s Degree in Audiology.  She has been practicing in NWA for almost 30 years and for the last 4 years at Farris Memorial ENT.  She enjoys working with all age ranges, birth to geriatric, and speaking to the public about audiology.
