True Lit is devoted to the tremendous literary traditions Northwest Arkansas has fostered over the years. Literary roots run deep in Fayetteville, providing the fertile ground that continues to produce talented and acclaimed writers in the region. Our community loves great literature, and in the past the festival has presented distinguished authors such as R.L. Stine, Jack Gantos, Jacqueline Woodson, Lois Lowry, Gene Luen Yang, Jarret Krosoczka, Louis Sachar and Kwame Alexander.
True Lit is in collaboration with the Fayetteville Public Library, Fayetteville Public Schools, Fayetteville Public Education Foundation, and University of Arkansas Program in Creative Writing and Translation.
