Fayetteville Public Library (FPL) permits photography and filming that supports its mission while maintaining a suitable environment for patrons. Professional or commercial photography and filming that involves non-handheld/specialized equipment or reserved use of space requires advance authorization. Please review the following terms and submit this form at least 72 hours prior to your proposed production date.

Terms & Guidelines
By submitting this form, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. No photography or filming that violates the privacy of FPL staff and patrons, including filming of account, reservation, or registration information.
2.Photography and filming are strictly prohibited in restrooms, lactation rooms, staff-only areas, and other nonpublic areas designated for privacy or safety.
3. Equipment must not block entrances, exits, aisles, service points, collections, or emergency routes. Moving furniture, attaching equipment to Library property, or requiring patrons/staff to relocate is prohibited.
4. Staged content, performances, pranks, or social media activity may be limited if the activity causes a disturbance to patrons, prohibited conduct, or a safety hazard.
5. Library staff may enforce this policy and allow a reasonable opportunity to stop, relocate, or modify the activity. Immediate action may be taken to address a safety threat, privacy violation, or material disruption.
6. Receipt or acknowledgment of a request is not approval; approval must be given in writing from the Executive Director or a designee. News media inquiries should be directed to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
