J.B. & Johnelle Hunt Center for Innovation (1st Floor)Learn the essentials of the Center for Innovation's embroidery machine—including setup, safety, and basic operations, featuring the Brother PE 545.
Join us for a workshop on the fundamentals of using our embroidery machine. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this session will cover everything you need to know to confidently operate the Brother PE 545.
In this session, participants will learn the following:
- Basic Set Up: Understand how to properly set up the machine, including threading the needle, winding the bobbin, and attaching the presser foot.
- Safety Measures: Learn important safety precautions for handling the machine, including proper power and foot pedal usage, fabric handling techniques, and machine maintenance tips.
- Basic Operations: Explore the different types of stabilizers/threads and master essential embroidery techniques, such as selecting stitches and loading designs.
