In this workshop, longtime music instructor and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Felton will discuss the foundations of technique on Bass Guitar, Guitar, Drum Kit and Piano.

In the Principles of Multi-Instrumentalism workshop, longtime music instructor and multi-instrumentalist, Christopher Felton will discuss and demonstrate some of the foundations of technique on Bass Guitar, Guitar, Drum Kit and Piano. Felton will dive into what makes playing these instruments so different, but more importantly, illuminating all the universal technique approaches that can make playing all of them easier. Having played various instruments at different times in his life, and having taught many students over the years how to approach growing their skills on multiple instruments, he's uniquely suited to discuss the common pitfalls, as well as ways of thinking that can shape us towards our goals. This workshop is 2.5 hours with a short break.

All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.
