A month-long writing camp for young authors interested in developing their creative writing skills

This month-long writing workshop is for young writers interested in developing their creative writing skills and fantastical worldbuilding.  Students having completed grades 5-11 will write both in class and independently from home. The class will help students write fantasy stories and will focus on skills such as worldbuilding, character creation, and tips for creating an entertaining and believable magical society. Participants will be invited to publish some of their work in a literary zine at the end of the workshop.

This is a hybrid workshop with an option for virtual attendance via Zoom, so participants can attend however is most convenient for them (in person or from home).

Registration is required and supplies will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own writing materials if they prefer.  Registration opens June 10.
