Attendees will be taken through the application process for the Bicycle Friendly Business designation while learning about additional benefits of becoming bicycle-friendly.
This complimentary, one-day workshop is for Fayetteville area business owners and/or managers that would like to apply for designation as a nationally recognized Bicycle-Friendly Business through programming developed by The League of American Bicyclists. A Bicycle-Friendly Business designation is a simple way to show the cycling community, visitors, and employees that your business recognizes the health and business benefits of cycling. Participants are asked to bring a laptop if possible. There is a fee attached to filing the Bicycle Friendly Business application, based on an organization's number of employees.
Presenter Dane Eifling is the Mobility Coordinator for the City of Fayetteville and is a League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructor. Dane and his partners have hosted several past Bicycle-Friendly Business Bootcamps and helped dozens of businesses earn bicycle-friendly business designations.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7250 or email questions@faylib.org 2-3 weekdays before a program.
This program is presented in partnership with the City of Fayetteville, and registration will open on March 10. Registration is required.
