Join NWA Space board member Dustin Masterson as he explores the planets and their classification.

Ever wonder why the public was taught for years that there were 9 planets? Why do we only have 8 now? In this discussion, NWA Space board member and engineer Dustin Masterson will talk about the planets, interesting facts, and how we classify the celestial objects in our universe. There will be plenty of time for questions about space, science, and engineering, so bring your burning questions!

NWA Space is a nonprofit working to build a science center with a 150-seat planetarium, observatory, permanent science exhibits, and hands-on labs for Northwest Arkansas. Learn more about their mission to create a place for all ages to gather and explore science at nwa.space.
