Calling the Shots – A Director’s Workshop *

Watch us shoot a demo scene in the studio with a professional crew! We’ll walk step-by-step through the directing process and show off the Center For Innovation’s assets and opportunities.

Step inside the director’s chair and see how a scene comes together. In this live workshop, the professional crew of the Fayetteville Film Fest will shoot a demo scene inside the Center for Innovation's video production studio while walking through each stage of the directing process, from planning and blocking to performance adjustments and final takes. You’ll also get an inside look at the cameras, gear, and creative tools available through the Center for Innovation.

Please note: Seating is limited and space is first-come, first-served.

This program will be presented by Director Billy Chase Goforth and is offered in partnership with the Fayetteville Film Fest, celebrating filmmaking, storytelling, and community across Northwest Arkansas.
