Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)The UAMS Northwest Women's Health Team will offer a presentation on perimenopause and menopause. Mental wellness concerns that may present during this time will also be discussed.
Menopause and perimenopause represent a significant transitional period of time for all women. This presentation will discuss symptoms and concerns that frequently present in the perimenopause time, including mental health concerns. Presenters will review evidence-based strategies to approach perimenopause to optimize health and reduce undesirable symptoms.
