Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)Take another journey into forgotten history and celebrate the release of J. B. Hogan's second book devoted to retrieving the long-lost stories of Fayetteville and Washington County, Arkansas.
Forgotten Fayetteville: More Hidden Histories From Washington County by J. B. Hogan and Susan Parks-Spencer contains another round of history articles that retrieve ignored, lost, or forgotten history. There are Fayetteville stories, of course, but there are 36 histories here altogether (twice as many as in the first Forgotten Fayetteville). And these histories are meant to widen the net of diversity as well – including Women’s, Black, and Native American history as well as history from many of our out in the county towns and communities.
