About the artists
Katie Bentley is a Native Arkansan creative finding sentiment in the places we inhabit; both physically and mentally. Bentley’s style of painting shares a blend of structure and surrender. Structure in detailed architectural watercolor portraits of homes and businesses, while surrendering to personal emotions in vibrant abstract acrylic works meant to bring joy and a bit if whimsy. Bentley loves painting watercolor portraits, vibrant acrylics, and playful mixed media abstracts. “My favorite part of getting an architectural watercolor commission, is hearing the story.”
Adriana M.Pineda is a Latina multidisciplinary artist based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born in Miami to Venezuelan and Nicaraguan parents, she draws deeply from her vibrant heritage to create works that blend bold tropical colors, textured brushwork, and spontaneous movement. Her art evokes personal memories and emotions with a unique, intimate energy. Exploring themes of identity, home, and language, Pineda’s pieces reflect family history and cultural expression through rich, impressionist brushwork. Her process centers on presence and intuition, allowing her art to grow naturally and speak to the heart. “I’ve always been drawn to the richness of Latin culture and its expression through color and storytelling.”
