Learn advanced laser engraving tips, techniques, and more!

Want to learn even more about laser engraving? This class builds upon the fundamentals covered in Learning Lab: Lasers and dives deeper into some of the more complex aspects of design and machine operation. We will explore a wide range of topics such as... 

  • High-resolution photo engraving
  • The rotary tool (and NEW IR laser attachment!)
  • Stamps & 3D engraving
  • Kerf and joinery
  • Creating 3D sculpture using STL files
  • Laser marking for personalized gifts and branding

Participants are encouraged to bring their own questions, challenges, and tips related to laser engraving to share with the class!

Please note: This class is not the same as Learning Lab: Lasers, which is required before using the library's laser engravers. This class does not replace the orientation or grant participants the laser badge.
