"A Letter to My Husband" – Film Screening & Discussion

Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)The short film version of Jo Ann Kaminsky's "A Letter to My Husband" will be screened followed by a discussion with the creator and director.
Jo Ann Kaminsky is an art therapist, play therapist, and co-founder of Fayetteville nonprofit The Art Experience, Inc. Puppetry is one of her art forms, and last year her puppet show "A Letter to My Husband" premiered here at the library. “A Letter to My Husband” explores themes of loss and healing, with Kaminsky sharing memories in the forms of wooden puppets and shadow puppets.
Fayetteville Public Television partnered with the director, Jules Taylor, to create a short film version of the show. The 25 minute film will be shown at 6:00 pm, and an audience Q&A will be held with Jo Ann and Jules afterward.
