About the presenter
Aimee Ray is an embroidery artist, author, and designer whose work blends a lifelong love of craft, nature, and storytelling. She is the creator of the Doodle Stitching book series and the design brand little dear, where she shares embroidery patterns, sewing projects, and nature-inspired art. Aimee first learned embroidery as a child and returned to it as an adult, finding in it both a meditative practice and a way to connect with other makers. Her whimsical designs celebrate animals, plants, and folk motifs, carrying forward one of the world’s oldest art forms and honoring its tradition as women’s work. Through her books, business, and workshops, Aimee encourages others to slow down, find calm, and discover joy in handmade art. She is the sole designer and proprietor of little dear, creating projects that transform simple stitches into meaningful works.
