Equipping Your Nonprofit Board for Success
Better Boards for Nonprofits Series
Wednesday, October 14
10:00am - 12:00pm
Fayetteville Public Library
Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)In this session, we will explore how staff and Board leadership can onboard and train new and current Board members to be effective leaders for their organization.
Your nonprofit Board members need onboarding and training to be effective in their roles, just like your staff members do. Many Board members feel ill equipped to do what we ask of them, though they may not always say so.
This four-part series, happening weekly throughout October, will explore the necessary board policies, volunteer management strategies, and distribution of power needed for Board members and Executive Directors to move nonprofits forward. Join us on Wednesday, October 21 for the next session, Nonprofit Boards & Executive Directors.
This series is presented in partnership with Melanie Palmer Consulting.
