VA Disability Compensation Basics
Free Help for Veterans
Thursday, August 06
5:30pm - 7:30pm
Fayetteville Public Library
Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)The goal of this workshop is to equip veterans and surviving spouses with practical information so they can advocate for themselves and work toward more stable financial and living situations.
The VA disability system is complex, and many veterans are denied benefits they may actually qualify for because they do not understand what the VA looks for in a strong claim. In this free workshop, a VA‑accredited attorney will provide guidance on starting or improving a VA compensation claim, explain the basic elements and evidence the VA considers, outline the qualifications for Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU), and walk through options for appealing a denied claim.
This event will be livestreamed. Watch it here →
