Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)Join us for a film screening of "Bury Me at Taylor Hollow" and conversation with conservation burial pioneer John Christian Phifer of Larkspur Conservation in Tennessee.
Join Mourning Cloak Conservation Burial for a free community screening of Bury Me at Taylor Hollow. The one-hour documentary follows special guest John Christian Phifer’s journey from traditional funeral director to founder of a natural burial preserve. John Christian Phifer spent 15-years working in the conventional funeral industry before leaving it all behind to create the first conservation burial ground in Tennessee.
Afterward, Mourning Cloak President Ragan Sutterfield and John Christian will have a Q&A exploring sustainable death care and Mourning Cloak's mission to create Arkansas’ first conservation burial ground.
