Fayetteville Public Library
Gallery: Lucky Day South WallWe invite you to view or participate in our first Community Ofrenda, a collective space of celebration and remembrance where community members can pay tribute to loved ones who have passed.
In honor of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), the ofrenda will be on display in our Lucky Day lobby on the 2nd floor from October 26 through November 2. Visitors are invited to view the ofrenda or leave a small disposable offering of their own!
The word ofrenda specifically refers to the items placed as offerings on an altar, but these days ofrenda and altar are often used interchangeably.
