Fayetteville Public Library
Walker Community Room (3rd Floor)Join local author Nathan McKinney to hear about his historical novel focused on the culture of rural Arkansas in the early 1960's.
After retiring from the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, Nathan McKinney of Fayetteville found himself with time on his hands during a particularly cold January. With golfing and fishing temporarily out of the question, he turned to something he had always enjoyed—storytelling. The result was his first novel, Bootleggers Errand.
This book is a thrilling disaster adventure that throws together an unlikely group of misfits and strange companions as they fight to survive against overwhelming danger. Amid chaos and life-threatening challenges, themes of courage, sacrifice, family loyalty, and enduring love drive the story forward like a roller-coaster ride.
