Join the Arkansas International in celebrating contributors and artists from and associated with Arkansas at their Arkansas Showcase!
"The Arkansas International" is a bi-annual print journal launched by the University of Arkansas MFA Program in Creative Writing & Translation that places emerging and established authors from across the world in conversation with one another. Their most recent issue, Issue 11, features writers such as AE Stallings, Andrea Cohen, Ae Hee Lee, Sara Viren, and Cynthia Hogue; additionally, the issue features Emerging Writer awardees Johann Sarna and Suzie Ekcl, selected by Jericho Brown and Deb Olin Unferth respectively. The Arkansas Showcase will kick off the launch of their latest issue!
This event is part of the True Lit: Literary Festival, a partnership with Fayetteville Public Library, the Program in Creative Writing and Translation at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Public Schools, Fayetteville Public Education Foundation, Walton Arts Center, Altrusa and Ozark Literacy Council. Due to extenuating circumstances, True Lit events will be featured throughout 2021/22.
