Qigong is a form of coordinated movement, breathing and meditation that has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine for health and wellbeing. Instructor Jack Kayser is certified as a Qigong group leader by the Spring Forest Qigong Center of Minneapolis and has practiced for over a decade.
The class will be held outside in the library's gathering glade when the weather permits and in the art and movement room when the weather is not suitable for outside practice. Ordinary clothing is adequate and no mat is needed. The movements are gentle, slow and suitable for most people.
