Audio 101

First Security Bank Board Room (2nd Floor)This class is intended for those interested in recording in the Audio Recording Studio in the Center for Innovation. Completion of both Audio 101 and 102 is required for studio access.
The Audio 101 class deals with some technical audio basics such as:
frequency
wavelength
amplitude
phase
Fletcher Munson Curve
sound pressure
decibels
levels
sample rate
bit depth
buffer size
latency
microphone types
cable types
The second required class, audio 102, is more hands on and deals with our specific studio and a basic Pro Tools overview. Classes are for users 15 and over, please.

This is a basic course that will orient patrons to the equipment and tools available in the Center for Innovation.
