WordPlay: Memoir (Completed Grades 4–10) *

Craft a short piece of memoir writing or an autobiographical comic

Join us for a special one-day WordPlay creative writing workshop!  Students will be introduced to the concept of memoir (nonfiction narrative based on memories and experiences) and will craft either a short piece of memoir writing or an autobiographical comic drawing from a personal experience.  The workshop will be held in the Teen Project Room, but a virtual option (via Zoom) will be available for those who cannot attend in person.

Registration is required and supplies are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own writing/drawing tools if they prefer.  Sign-up begins May 23.
