If you and your family are interested in 3D printing, this is the 3D printing workshop for you!
Designed for ages 7-12 this workshop will review the basics of 3D printing. Each family will learn how to find 3D print files, prepare them in the appropriate slicing software, and send them to the print bed. Participants will be able to choose from a selection of colors and each family will work on 1 print bed (multiple prints can be done on the same bed). Each family will be given a 80 gram allowance for their print project (Grams can be calculated once the print is sliced).
Each participate will recieve a 3D print Learning Lab Badge on their library card. This badge will allow you to make future 3D print reservations on our Center for Innovation page, under Fabrication and Robotics Lab
Time will be allowed to find 3D models. Participants can also bring in their own STL files on a flash drive.
Please only register 1 person from your group and note under event questions how many people we can expect in your group (up to 4 people MAX).
