Have an old object that you want to give a new life? Join local artist Tara Fletcher-Gibbs in a workshop geared around upcycling objects. Learn how to sand, paint, and decoupage!

At the Upcycled Found Objects workshop you will learn how to give your old item new life!  Join Tara Fletcher-Gibbs, experienced jewelry box rehabilitator, to learn the basics of painting over wood, sanding techniques for a vintage look, decoupaging using paper or photos and minor repair work to hinges, knobs and music boxes.  Bring your favorite found object and let's give it a new look!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own collage items for the decoupaging (old photos, news papers, magazines, string, wood)

If you do not have a found object one will be provided for you.

This workshop is designed for ages 13+
