Learn how to 3D print accessibility tools in our fabrication and robotics lab!
This program will review the basics of 3D printing and using 3D printers to create accessibility tools. Each participant will learn how to find 3D print files, prepare them in the appropriate slicing software, and send them to the print bed. We will focus on the FDM 3D printers. Each participant will be given a 40 gram allowance for their print project (Grams can be calculated once the print is sliced).
Each participate will receive a 3D print Learning Lab Badge on their library card. This badge will allow you to make future 3D print reservations on our Center for Innovation page, under Fabrication and Robotics Lab
Time will be allowed to find 3D models. Participants can also bring in their own STL files on a flash drive.
