Discover 3D Printing!
This lab will focus on FDM/FFF (filament) 3D printing. We will cover safety, machine operation, and tips for preparing your 3D models for printing. We will teach patrons how to use our Bambu Lab X1-Carbon, Bambu Lab A1, and Fusion3 F410 printers. We'll talk about how to safely operate the equipment, what materials are approved for use, and how to send files. This class is required for all users before booking an appointment for the library's 3D printers.
These orientations are designed for new Fabrication & Robotics Lab users to gain knowledge on specific equipment, including proper operating procedures and safety measures. Once completing the Learning Lab, participants will receive a digital badge on their library card, allowing them to easily reserve lab equipment on open lab days.
For more information, visit the Resources section on the Center for Innovation page.
All abilities are welcome. For disability accommodations, call 479.856.7050 or email centerforinnovation@faylib.org 2-3 days before a program.
