FPL+ provides patrons access to non-staffed, limited library services outside of the library’s regular operating hours.

FPL+ hours

Monday – Sunday:
6am - opening
15 minutes after close - 10pm

This service is not available on holidays or days when the library is closed.

All library cardholders in good standing who are 18 years old and older may apply for FPL+ access.
Morning hours are 6 a.m. until opening. Evening hours are 15 minutes after close until 10 p.m. This service is not available on holidays or days when the library is closed. 
Patrons can apply for FPL+ access at the Welcome Desk in the library. You must present your photo ID during the visit so staff may verify your information. An application can take up to 24 hours to be processed. Once processed, the applicant receives an email confirming after-hours access to the library’s Mountain Street lobby.
By using the Library during FPL+ hours, patrons acknowledge and agree to the following:

+ I will use my own library card and PIN to gain access to the building.

+ I understand FPL+ access is only for me and my guests, and that I am responsible for my conduct and the conduct of my guests.

+ Other than my invited guests, for whom I am responsible, I will not provide library access to others trying to enter the facility.

+ Security cameras monitor the library.

+ FPL and Arsaga’s staff may be present in the facility during FPL+ hours, but are not available to provide assistance. All services are self-serve.

+ Holds Locker must be selected as the pick-up location at the time of placing a hold for a hold to be shelved in the FPL+ area.

+ Announcements will be made periodically, and I agree to follow any directives.

+ All FPL policies are in effect during FPL+ hours, including the Code of Conduct and Computer Resources and Internet Access policies. 

+ I may be liable for any injuries, damages or theft to library property or equipment caused by myself or my guests. Specifically, in consideration of being permitted to use the library with FPL+ access, I agree to release and indemnify and hold harmless and defend FPL, its officers, agents, volunteers, employees, and trustees from any and all liability, loss, claims, and demands, actions, or cause of action for the death or injury to any persons and for any property damage suffered or incurred by any person which arises or may arise or be occasioned in any way from my use of library space. My agreement to indemnify FPL includes, and is not limited to, indemnification for FPL’s own negligence or otherwise wrongful conduct.

Failure to comply with these policies may result in denial of future use of the FPL resources and/or immediate removal from the facility, as well as possible fines and legal consequences.
