This digital art exhibit features Black community members sharing stories of their lives in Arkansas through a series of thought-provoking interviews. Attendees will hear and see Black community members narrating a richly diverse range of personal histories and everyday life experiences that illuminate what it means to be a Black Arkansan from the perspectives of these narrators. In addition to an immersive exhibit experience, program leaders will host a facilitated talk-back session, inviting attendees to ask questions and share perspectives.
This event is a collaborative effort presented by The Visionairi Foundation, Washington County Community Remembrance Project, Fayetteville Public Library, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art | The Momentary, The Whiting Foundation, and My-T-By-Design Therapeutic Art Studio.
