Help us prepare for the third annual Maker Faire NWA by transforming waste into wonder in our Fabrication & Robotics Lab – will also feature lasers!

Our community project this year is a "garden" made with upcycled materials. Afterwards, stop by the library on September 7 to see the final piece on display for all to see at Maker Faire NWA 2024!

This workshop will utilize the tools of the Fabrication & Robotics Lab to create intricate designs from the raw materials.

Participants are welcome to bring their own scrap wood or upcycled material such as water bottles, egg cartons, and cardboard. Be creative! However, please do not bring sharp, toxic, or dusty/moldy materials. We want this experience to be allergy-friendly and safe for all ages. For a list of laser-safe materials, click HERE

Attendees under age 8 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Please register each attendee separately.

This event requires no prior experience—just your creativity and enthusiasm! Let's make something amazing together!

→ You can join us for another Maker Faire NWA Community Build on Saturday, August 24. Register here!
