Conquer the Kitchen: Root Vegetables *

Chef Amon will show you how to cook with root vegetables.

This class will be offered at 11am and 2pm. Please only register for one session. See the 2pm class →

Do you love root vegetables? Perhaps you don't carrot all for them. Either way, Chef Amon has some ways to turnip the beet and celebrate these delectable earthy treats! This class will focus on exploring ways to prepare some familiar root vegetables, as well as learning about some that may be less familiar to you. Although we'll be climbing the tree of culinary knowledge, we will definitely stay grounded in the basics of root veg cookery. We will prepare a few different preparations, and you're gonna dig 'em!

Please be prepared with the following safety guidelines:

• Hairnets and aprons will be provided. You may wear a clean hat of your own if you prefer.
• Long hair should be restrained. 
• Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
