Medieval/Fantasy LARP Day

Join Amtgard from the Kingdom of the Emerald Hills, a local live-action roleplay group for a full day of workshops, demonstrations, and battle games!

No registration required—just show up and join the fun!

Event Schedule & Details:

12–12:15pm: Opening Ceremony
Meet the Amtgard Live Action Role Play group on the Gathering Glade to kick off the festivities! 

12–3pm: Drop-in Gathering Glade Activities
Join the action and participate in Battle Games training. Learn the rules of LARP and practice your foam weapon skills. Cosplayers welcome! 

+ Blacksmithing Demonstration
Visit Blacksmith Lothar and watch traditional metalworking techniques. See how metal is heated, shaped, and transformed into useful and decorative items.

+ Cookie Decorating (Ages 13+)
Join Rovno for a fun and creative cookie decorating session! Use icing, sprinkles, and other edible decorations to design your own tasty treat. All supplies provided while they last.

+ Foam Weapon Making (Ages 13+)
Meet up with Calla and forge your own foam sword or dagger (aka boffer) in this hands-on workshop. Learn the basics of foam crafting, shaping, and finishing to design a safe and lightweight prop.

12–4pm: LARP Day Photobooth
Drop by the Center for Innovation Photo Studio and have your picture taken with medieval and fantasy live-action roleplay accessories. 

3–4pm: Battle Games on the Gathering Glade and Closing Ceremony
Wrap up the day with exciting battle games on the Gathering Glade, followed by the closing ceremony.
