WordPlay: Camp NaNoWriMo Poetry is a four-week workshop for young writers interested in developing their creative writing skills through poetry.
Celebrate National Poetry Month with WordPlay: Camp NaNoWriMo Poetry, a four-week workshop for young writers interested in developing their creative writing skills through poetry. Students in grades 4 – 12 will write independently from home using writing prompts and challenges provided through a free online account at Camp NaNoWriMo and will meet live online once a week (Tuesdays at 4:30 pm) in a virtual classroom setting on Zoom where Youth Librarian Hotspur Closser will provide writing tips and students will be allowed to share their work (Zoom login details will be provided to participants). Registration is required and a writing packet will be made available for pick-up at the Fayetteville Public Library one week prior to class.
