Celebrate a new school year with The Equality Crew!
The school year is almost here, and The Equality Crew is sending off summer with the biggest bash under the rainbow! The Equality Crew of NWA creates safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth to have fun being their true selves. Join The Equality Crew at Fayetteville Public Library for the Back to School Bash!
There will be three components of the Bash:
Community Resource Fair, 3pm-5pm, Bradberry Family Prefunction Space
Community partners in support of LGBTQ+ youth will have tables at the library. Youth can get a free haircut from local stylists, clothing from The Transition Closet, and more.
This event is free and open to the public during library hours.
Community Picnic, 5pm-6pm, Hunt Family Gathering Glade
Nothing says "community" like a shared meal! Enjoy a free, picnic-style meal on our Gathering Glade as you enjoy live music!
This event is free and open to the public. Food is available while supplies last.
Dance Party, 6:30pm-9:00pm, Event Center
Get ready to bust a move! The Bash concludes with a teens-only dance party in the Fayetteville Public Library Event Center. Enjoy a live deejay, refreshments, and the biggest rocking horse you have ever seen!
This event is free to teens in completed grades 6th-12th. Registration is required through The Equality Crew (link below). Please contact hello@theequalitycrew.org for questions regarding the dance.

We hope to see you at the Back to School Bash!
It is free and open to the public.
Please note that "teens only" is intended to reassure teens that they will have a comfortable and safe place to be themselves. The dance party will be chaperoned by adults. Parents who wish to stay are welcome to do so.
