A class for those beginning to research their family history.

Learn about the tools available for you in our genealogy department and meet the people who can help you use them. First-hour lecture will be basic tips to start your family tree by following the census and how to use Ancestry and Heritage Quest search engines. Second hour will be a tour of our genealogy department with time to use the library resources while assistance is on hand to help.
