Join us in the photography studio with local photographer Mary Beth, as we explore portrait photography. Learn about posing, lighting, backgrounds and the rule of thirds. All cameras are welcome and yes, even your iPhone. The best camera is the one you have on you! If you have not been into the photography studio, now is the time!
Mary Beth has been in the creative arts for 12+ years and is a school art teacher. Her specialty is product and branding photography and content creation for social media. She has shot for brands such as Gearhead, Confident Coffee, Alpine Start, and more. Graduating with her BA in Studio Arts from Hendrix College and her Masters of Art Ed from Illinois State University, she has a passion for photography and community outreach. She puts her heart into the work she does.
Please bring a camera if you have one, and a good phone camera can also work.
