CFI: Koenig Family Fabrication & Robotics Lab (1st Floor)

Join artist Jenny Dowd and learn how to use polymer clay to create tiny foods!

Make your favorite foods from polymer clay! Designed for beginners, this workshop will focus on the basics of working with polymer clay. We will roll, pinch, cut, and texture the colorful clay and make tiny foods that might just make you hungry for the real deal! All materials will be provided, including instructions for how to harden your clay food in an oven after you get home.

Jenny Dowd is a full-time potter and artist. Fascinated by the relationship between collector and object, Jenny primarily works in clay to produce functional, quirky, interactive pieces that jive with place and person. Jenny and her husband, Sam, live in Prairie Grove where they co-own Dowd House Studios. They work under the watchful eye of studio cat, Merlin.
