Comics creation workshop for teens

Join storyteller and cartoonist Zeke Peña as he teaches participants how to create their own comic book character and design a comic book page! Participants will learn some comic making basics with hands-on instruction from Zeke, illustrator of the award-winning titles My Papi Has a Motorcycle and Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide.  Most recently, Zeke provided the illustrations and cover artwork for Jason Reynolds' new Spider-Man novel, Miles Morales: Suspended. 

Supplies will be provided, but seating is limited and registration is required. Registration opens September 23 at 9 a.m. 

This program is part of our 2023 True Lit Fayetteville Literary Festival!
