Learning Lab: CNC & Vacuum Forming (Ages 13+) *

Learn about our Snap Maker CNC and Mayku Vacuum Former! Each participant will earn a digital badge on their library card, allowing them to book the equipment anytime through our website.

These learning labs are designed for new Fabrication Lab users so that CFI staff can provide information on specific equipment and teach users proper operating procedures and safety measures. Once patrons have completed the learning lab, they will receive a digital badge on their library card so that they can easily reserve lab equipment through FPL's website. 

This lab will focus on safe operation of the Snap Maker CNC and the Mayku Form Box Vacuum Forming machine as well as offering tips and best practices for CNC file creation.

These learning labs are required for all users before booking an appointment to use the equipment.
