Learn the basics of live event production with this hands-on workshop from the Center for Innovation and Music Education Initiative.

Fayetteville Public Library is pleased to partner with the Music Education Initiative for this Production Education and Technical Training Program! This is a first-class experience that exposes, educates and trains participants on production and technical fundamentals, and offers the opportunity to work with companies that are in need of trained talent.

Under the instruction of Fayetteville Public Library's skilled AV team, participants will be trained by live performance technicians on four key areas of the industry: safety, audio, lighting and best practices. After training, participants may be eligible for upcoming jobs and potential careers as live performance technicians.

This workforce development program gives you the hands-on experience you need while developing relationships with key people in the industry. Ultimately, you'll gain the ability to be hired for entry-level employment at an hourly rate much higher than the current minimum wage.
