The Visiting Artist application is currently closed. Please follow us on social media to get updates on our next application period.

Along with completing the following form, please email five (5) high resolution image and/or video samples or 2-3 writing samples (not to exceed 5,000 words total) to art@faylib.org using the subject line: "Visiting Artist application."

Scoring

+ Technical Skill: Works submitted demonstrate the artist’s skill and proficiency. (10 points)

+ Professionalism: Proposals are organized, efficiently demonstrating the applicant’s expertise in art and instruction. (10 points)

+ Class & Workshop Proposal: Workshop proposals are well structured, including titles, class descriptions, intended audience and learning objectives. (20 points)

+ Originality & Innovation: Projects and workshop proposals will provide unique opportunities and experience to library users. (10 points)


No art may be accepted that contains material contradictory to FPL's Code of Conduct (read the Code of Conduct here).
